I still recall being a kid in Greenpoint and going to swim at the pool over 40 years ago! There are 3 recollections from here that I will never forget - the high dive pool (adjacent to the main pool), the lockers and baskets for your stuff (10 cent rental fee) and the time some weird guy pulled me off the exit steps in the main pool and tried to drown me when I was 10 years old. Some day I'd like to go back and actually see a show there and experience what it's like these days. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the shows vicariously thanks to recordings like this.
